Wooden carved Road Runner by Bill Hockings, Peru Illinois. All original with glass eyes, detailed carving in the body, foot, wings, and tail. Head crest, legs, and foot are wooden. Bird has a metal piece extended from the leg that holds it up in the wooden base and can easily be moved around to different positions. Very unique piece, measures 16-1/2″ from head to tail, base is 4-1/2″ at the widest part, and the piece stands 7″ tall including base. Bottom of bird and base both have “carved by” information on them.
